OUR TEAM
As you'll read in these biographies, we've assembled an industry-leading team of marketing, technology and strategy
specialists – all leaders in our industry. But what can never be written in an individual bio is the synergy of the
team members: How each person provides a piece of the puzzle you need to create a successful voice marketing campaign –
how our team works to raise the bar on both technology and marketing strategy for our clients. It is precisely this
blend of individual expertise combined with aggressive teamwork that lets SmartReply create breakthrough results
for our clients. |

Eric Holmen, President
Eric is responsible for leading SmartReply's culture and strategy, and building the structures
and teams to achieve SmartReply's core purpose and BHAG.
"Our greatest achievement will be the fun we had in bringing our greatest dreams come to life," sums up Eric's
management style. Prior to SmartReply, Eric held leadership roles with post-M&A companies. Catalina Marketing
acquired Market Logic, and Eric joined to lead the General Market group and to integrate marketing strategies
of the two companies. Over his four years in this role, revenue grew 340%. Prior to Catalina Marketing, Sears
Roebuck acquired Orchard Supply Hardware, and Eric joined to integrate marketing and branding strategies, and
to manage credit marketing services in the $2 billion hardware group. Prior to Sears, Eric worked in the catalog
and retail industries in marketing strategy, location analysis and planning, point-of-sale technology, and
database marketing areas. More recently, Eric was asked to author the mobile marketing chapter of Stanford
University's book on mobile marketing, "Mobile Persuasion".
Eric's favorite part of the SmartReply website is
Media Fragmentation. "We've done some
amazing case studies in the last few years, but in researching this one we isolated the most important trend in
consumer behavior. At the time we called it media fragmentation,' but we've come to realize it's more than
that - this is a movement, a revolution, where the consumer is taking control of their marketing experience.
It's one of the most exciting challenges facing marketers today."
